SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination

SSC CGL is conducted as a Computer Based Examination in two tiers. Tier-I has four sections of 25 questions each (General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension), 50 marks per section, one hour, with negative marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer. Tier-II comprises Paper-I (Sections I-III), Paper-II (Statistics) and Paper-III (General Studies — Finance and Economics).
